Tournament Conditions: Temperatures were in the upper 70’s, with 5-10 mph winds. Overcast skies with light rain most of the day. My tournament results would have been better but the scales closed before I could weigh my fish. Co-angler winning weights were in the 20-24lb range. I didn’t make the cut to day two of this tournament.

Tournament Conditions: Temperatures were in the lower 90’s with calm winds. Clear skies for the entirety of the tournament. My tournament results were not good in this tournament. We could locate the fish but could no get them to bite. Pre-fishing the day before was better. This tournament was won with 9lbs. This is a lower than expect weight.

Tournament Conditions: Temperatures were in the upper 80’s with calm winds. Clear skies for the entirety of the tournament. My tournament results were not what I expected in this tournament. We could not locate the fish or get them to actively bite. The co-angler side of this tournament was won with 7lbs of fish. This is a lower than expected weight.

Tournament Conditions: Temperatures were in the lower 80’s with light winds up to 10 mph. Cloudy skies on and off throughout the day then mostly clear. Started out fishing lake Moultrie and couldn’t locate feeding fish. Moved around and ended up catching one fish out of a school the last 40 min of the tournament. Lesson learned: Don’t give up which I didn’t. I was happy to catch that fish. The tournament winning weight was 17lbs.

Tournament Conditions: Temperatures were in the lower 70’s with light winds up to 10 mph. Cloudy skies on and off throughout the day. Fished all over lake Murray from dreher island and down towards dam. Caught a good many fish but all were short. Lake Murray was fishing tough this day. The world black bass championship was going on the weekend before. The tournament winning weight was 14.83lbs.
